Banana Nut Bread

This recipe proves that with a bunch of ingredients you already have all you need are two bananas and you’ve got some delicious and kind of  nutritious bread.

Original recipe from Wives with Knives and Martha Stewart

* 1/2 cup of butter, softened

* 1 /2 cup of white sugar

* 1/2 cup of brown sugar

* 2 eggs

* 1 cup of flour

* 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour

* 1 tsp baking soda

* 1 tsp salt

* 1 cup very ripe bananas, mashed

* 1/2 cup of sour cream

* 1 tsp vanilla

* 1 cup of pecans, chopped

Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla, and eggs together in a bowl. Combine the dry ingredients and mix well then slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture. Add the bananas, sour cream, and nuts, stir well to combine. Pour into a 9x5x3 loaf pan that has been coated with cooking spray. Bake for 1 hour or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a rack. Slice and serve slathered with butter. Enjoy.
